Description'Rejoice my dear General rejoice, and give God thanks His Majesty's fleet has given such a beating, to that [underlined] of France, as no great fleet ever had before.'
'Had I my dear General have had the honor [sic] of commanding His Majesty's noble fleet yesterday; I may without the imputation of vanity say, the Flag of Island, would at this hour have graced the sterns of twenty sail at least [underlined] of the enemy's ships of the Line.'
