The names of the suppliers are also given - eg, but with variations: R. Allison, R. Lovegrove (vegetables); B. Brown, Edward Howis (oilery and groceries); R. Spike, William Finch (poultry); Banister (butcher); Mess. Groves, F. Milton (fish); F. Burtt (bacon).
It occasionally registers supplies of truffles (provided by R. Allison) and, in one instance, roasting pigs (by J. Engall).
