DescriptionThe Duke reports that he has forwarded to Lord Melville recommendations for Mr Daniel and Mr Lloyd and comments on the bad weather as Royal Sovereign moved via the Nore to safety at Deptford. He has commended Hoste to the King and Lord Melville for his conduct during the gale and for hosting the visit of the two sovereigns and the Queen of the Netherlands and other princes at Antwerp. The Duke promises to discuss the manning and fitting of the yacht with Lord Melville as soon as possible. He also expresses interest in Hoste's next command, hopefully at Deptford and Woolwich.
