Description | Accounts for the year ending 5 January 1762 - 5 January 1817 For the period 1762 - 1798 (f 36997 - 37033) expenditure is broken down into categories for occupations (purveyors, farriers, coachmakers etc) and animal feed (hay, straw, oats etc) for each quarter with a total for the year. From 1799 (f 37034), the total for each quarter - and for the year - is given only until 1808 (f 37044) when the cost of feed is again recorded by quarter with a total for the year. The purchases of harnesses and new State Livery is periodically recorded. Total for the quarter 5 January 1819 (f 37055) including 'Bills for the Ponies'. List of 'Queen Charlotte's Horses & Carriages at her Decease' (f 37050) this document appears to be written in two different hands.
