| Description | Augusta communicated the Arrans' last letter to the King and Queen. The King had to postpone the visit he intended to pay to the Duke of Richmond [Charles Lennox, 2nd Duke of Richmond] because of the excessive heat and the arrival of the Duke of Meiningen, the Queen's brother [Bernhard II Erich Freund, Duke of Saxe-Meiningen]. The King expresses his attachment to the Arrans. Augusta looks forward to visiting them in Bognor. |
