| Title | Letter from the Duke of Clarence to J.W. Daniell, written at Hanover |
| Date | 2 December 1818 |
| Writer | Clarence and St Andrews, William, Duke of |
| Addressee | Daniell, J.W. |
| Description | William sends his advice on the farm's management that Daniell should read to Coates. He disapproves of Allen's behaviour and he worries that 'Sir Abraham Hume, Sir John Leicester [?] and Mr Haublon[?] [met?] 'too close for real elegance'. At present, though, the most important thing for William is the Duchess' health - she is in her 13th week of pregnancy. He wants Mrs Oak to send a list of linen needed for Bushy and St James and a list of dessert service - William might have that made in Brunswick. He asks Daniell to send him a "Court Kalender" for 1819. |
