| Description | Hertford reports that, in light of a letter received from Sir Robert Wilmot's brother, the objection made to the 'honor' intended for him is likely to have came from a female member of the family, as they thought about the birth of his sons. He conveys Sir Wilmot's thanks and reports the recent death of Lord Powis in Bath of a 'stroke of the palsey'. Hertford also thanks George III for his graciousness towards his daughters. |
