| Description | Letter continues their correspondence concerning Princess Sophia's wish to provide finanical assistance to the Duke of York and suggests a way forward in this matter, particularly concerning the arrangements for loan repayments. Princess Sophia wished to assist her brother months ago to the sum of £4000/£5000 however was prevented from doing so by the conduct of Mr Botton [?]. She is now in a position to do so again and wishes Taylor and Greenwood to arrange a loan for her of £5000, which she will pay back in instalments.Taylor has secured a bond of £2400 if further loan security is required. |
