Description[Memorandum] describing the Society of Arts early involvement in annual exhibitions of British Manufactures and stating the necessity to extend the success of such exhibitions held in the cities to the provinces. It is suggested that such exhibitions should be held at local Schools of Design and it is also proposed that the Society of Arts will create a national exhibition every four years, to take place in a building provided with Government sanction.
