Description | (97) Letter from Henry Cole to General Grey reporting that the Photographic Society had invited Queen Victoria and Prince Albert to their exhibition and suggesting that if they were to attend that they also take the opportunity to visit the memorials of the Exhibition of 1851. He also encloses a copy of to be brought before Prince Albert and the Commissioners and advises that they make subscriptions to the Examination Prize Fund.
