Phipps stresses the importance of the Earl Marshal rigidly following the directions given to him. Lord Howe [Richard William Penn Curzon-Howe, 1st Earl Howe] is happy with the arrangements in place for the Princess of Saxe-Weimar [Princess Ida of Saxe-Meiningen]. He received notice of the instructions for the attendance of Lord John Russell and the Marquess of Lansdowne. |
