Description
Letter from Lord John Russell to Prince Albert on various appointments to be made. He mentions a letter from Lord Seymour regarding the appointment of a Warden of the New Forest and advises that they consult Seymour's report before an offer is made. He also reports on the proposed appointments of Sir Denis Le Marchant, as Clerk of the House of Commons and James Booth, as Joint Secretary to the Board of Trade. He also suggests Richard Tufton receive a baronetcy once the Queen has created new ones.
