Description
Letter from Prince Albert in reply to Lord Westminster regarding Lord Brougham's speech in the House of Lords and Lord Westminster's suggestion (see VIC/MAIN/C/61/7). He states that anything that is relevant to the public regarding the Civil List is set out in the Civil List Act and advises that Westminster make it clear to Lord Brougham that his answer to him is merely out of courtesy, as the question was a private and not public one.
