Description'Sixth Report of the Commissioners on the Fine Arts, with appendix. Presented to both Houses of Parliament by Command of Her Majesty', reporting that the fresco by William Dyce had been completed to a high standard. They recommended that further frescoes should therefore go ahead. The commissioners also state that they believe it is not expedient to finish the series of paintings as suggested by the architects and that to ensure uniformity the Fine Arts Commission should decide on a scheme.
