Captain [Charles] Fielding has returned from Gibraltar in a very poor state of health - everyone is worried. Lady Hertford [Lady Isabella Fitzroy] passed away earlier that year, suddenly.
The Queen, then, asks William if he likes to serve under Lord [Samuel] Hood. She urges him not to become a libertine and to always behave well.
