DescriptionFrederick complains of not having heard from William in a while; he himself could not write before for having been posted in the Camp at Lunenburg [Nova Scotia], and then having shortly toured Hamburg and Bremen. He tells about the recent success of General Rodney [George Brydges Rodney, 1st Baron Rodney] against the French [Capture of Sint Eustatius?].
Announcing that William has been appointed by the King as Colonel of the Second Troop of Horse Grenadier Guards. He congratulates William for receiving the Garter.
