She describes the journey of the family to Windsor and various renovation works to houses there - Lord Dorton's House, Clifden House, the Duke of St Albans House. She refers of the death of the Duchess of Ancaster's son.
Praising William's letter in German: she hopes William will do 'our Language Credit'.
She sent another letter with a present from General La Motte
