DescriptionThe Princess notes with regard to Lady Pomfret that 'the advice of a good freind [sic] will make her a real woman of quality'. She also deliberately mis-spells Lady Pomfret's name at the start of GEO/ADD/28/102 as 'Lady Bomffrit'.
NotesThe original letter is GEO/ADD/28/102. The French transcription and English translation are on two halves of GEO/ADD/28/061. Both documents bear the circled number '31', which shows the order in which the original letter was bound.
Mrs Clayton has added a note on the English transcription with regard to the spelling on the original letter of 'Lady Bomffrit'.
