Date15 June 1783 - 18 June 1787
DescriptionCopies of letters exchanged between the government, in particular, Lord North and the Duke of Portland, and George III, discussing to how much the Prince of Wales' separate establishment should amount to in 1783 - the proposal was of £50,000. It also contains letters between the Prince of Wales, Lord Southampton and Colonel Hotham about the Prince of Wales' debts.

In a note at the end, George III states to have deposited this copy with Mr Pitt [William Pitt the Younger] to make him fully aware of consistency and integrity of the King's conduct throughout this lengthy discussion - this, in case the subject is addressed in Parliament.
