Description
The King reviews his political ideals and the struggles that have prevented them from being fulfilled in his 20 years of reign. Referring to the most recent events - in particular, the drafting of peace treatises with Spain and France and the necessity of forming a new administration - he admits that all his attempts to provide a guidance for the government have failed so that he will interrupt any interference [capitulating to the coalition].
