It contains dinners for 1st Earl of Munster; Lady Boyle [Lady Augusta Boyle, wife of Lord Frederick FitzClarence]; to [the Order] of the Bath in Waterloo Chamber; the Knights of the Garter in St George's Hall; for the Knights of St Patrick and the Thistle; Equerries.

A list of the people attending dinner is often provided.
Volume provides details of dinners served to members of the King and Queen's Household.

There are accounts of meat and fish consumed, game received and its provenance. For the fish, the names of the suppliers are given: Grove, Hanson and Peltham.

Marked 'Ledger 1836 Windsor Castle'.
NotesNote on f. 226v explains reason for chronological discontinuities across the volumes: 'Sunday the 15th October 1836 continues in the Brighton Ledger.'
