DescriptionMenu book for dinners and luncheons for William IV and Queen Adelaide, covering the first half of the volume. The second half reports dinners, luncheons and breakfasts for Queen Victoria. All meals were principally held at Windsor Castle (with specification if held in St George's Hall), occasionally at Ascot and Buckingham Palace.
It includes dinners for Lord Errol; Equerries; the Master of the Household; the Ladies; the Gentlemen Ushers. A list of the people attending dinner is often provided.
Monday 19 June 1837 is the King's last meal. The subsequent meals, up to 22 August 1837 when the menus for Queen Victoria begin, are titled as 'Dinners at Windsor Castle'.

There are accounts of meat and fish consumed, game received and its provenance. For the fish, the names of the suppliers are given: Grove, Hanson and Peltham.

Marked 'Ledger 1836 Windsor Castle'. The date has been corrected in pencil as 'Mar 1837 - Oct. 1837'.
