DescriptionAccount book recording all sums received by Barton in anticipation of the Queen's Outfit and Parliamentary Allowance as well as of other money received from other sources for Queen Adelaide's use. It also records sums disbursed on behalf of the Queen, broken down into sections or accounts reflecting how they were recorded in the Books in the Treasurer's Office (e.g. Personal Account; Donation; Travelling; Farm; Household salaries, etc.).

Scattered across the book, and generally at the end of the Lord Chamberlain or the Master of the Household's account, there are notes confirming the accuracy of the account reported by William Ashley
These notes are signed, respectively, by Deabis [?]; Howe; Errol.

Other notes, initially written on loose pieces of paper, then inserted in the volume, record the balance in the Banker's hands at a specific time.
